A panel talk discussing art as advocacy during the invasion of Ukraine, moderated by Dr. Michelle Kelso, Director of Human Services & Social Justice and Assistant Professor of Sociology and International Affairs at George Washington University. Guest speakers include Dr. Henry E. Hale, Professor of Political Science and International Affairs at GWU and director of the Elliott School's Institute for European, Russian, and Eurasian Studies (IERES), Dr. Oksana Yakushko, Director of Clinical Psychology at GWU, exhibition curator and founder of Conflicted Art, Yevgen Nemchenko and Alla Rogers, Director of the Art and Cultural Impact Programs, International Liaison for Washington DC Headquarters of the Global Peace Education Network.

ART THERAPY WORKSHOP
An art workshop led by Dr. Jordan Potash of GW Art Therapy. This two-hour workshop will emphasize engagement with the ongoing invasion of Ukraine through the artists' work, storylines, and displayed artifacts. Attendees will interact with their peers and discuss the invasion of Ukraine on a more localized scale, thus fostering continued interest and visibility for Ukraine abroad.
